Welcome to Ayurvedic Medicinals, "Offering Alternative Health Care and Ancient Body Therapies from India." We are located in the beautiful town of Auburn, California. This historic town has beautiful rivers and great hiking areas, so plan your next session here at at the center and then go straight to a park, river, lake or trail and make it a beautiful day!

The Vision

It is our intention to provide a healing environment where all is welcomed to partake in finding optimum health and wellness through the science of Ayurveda. The intention of the health center is to provide guidance for those who seek healing within the mind and body and to reconnect one with their divine spirit. Healing is a process that begins within ones self and can ripple out into the world creating harmony.

What is Ayurveda...

Ayurveda is the traditional healing system that comes from India. 'Ayur' means life and 'Veda' means knowledge. Ayurveda is the science of living in harmony with the forces of nature. Ayurveda teaches us that in order to enrich our lives, we must stay in harmony with nature by balancing the three doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha, or biological energies.

In an Ayurvedic Health Consultation, your unique constitution will be determinded and the underlying cause of your current imbalances will be uncovered. After imbalances are identified, then a unique treatment program is developed. The treatment program uses diet, herbs, colors, aromas, sound healing, massage, detoxification, yoga and meditation-all aimed at restoring or maintaining harmony within the mind and body. You are encouraged to have regular follow-up visits so that you can be provided with on-going support throughout this healing journey. Our Pancha Karma Detox Program...

Healing imbalances at the root of the problem is the goal of Ayurveda, and many of these imbalances begin in the digestion system and in the mind. Pancha Karma is the most powerful known detox process that removes impurities from deep within the different tissues of the body and eliminates them via the digestive system.
